Description: Good quality viable slide lot as shown - this is a once in a lifetime listing. I decided to pair down an extensive collection of vintage slides - there are many red boarder slides here which I know are desirable. I can't review them all - there are way too many!! I am estimating well over 2,000 here - here is how I figure - each of the large boxes are full - each of them have well over 200+ slides. There are 10 boxes of those so easily that's 2,000 - then there are a few smaller boxes which probably are close to another 200 or more. I did not individually count them all - I counted one packed box of more that 200-250. I believe 1950s-1970's applies here - there are some maybe from the 80's but not many. There are clear written documentation on some of these as well - which is always helpful! I left a few found notes with this lot too. There is a fine mixture of a world travelers expeditions through the 50's 60's and into the 70's - There is Bali Indonesia, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Germany, South America, Mexico, India etc etc! There is a few domestic United States Backyards and Family scenes. Some are really nice clear and bold Kodachrome color - which just can't be duplicated. Most are viable well defined images - some might need to be cleaned as they do pick up dust from storage over the years. If you have a question - please ask! Thanks for looking!!
