Description: Wood carving of tusked wild boar, signed by Julius Francis Taylor (1943-2005) of Cherokee, NC. It has a high gloss finish which shows some fine crazing in certain light, mainly on the bottom. A ridge on back. There is an old price tag (original?) on belly. 5.75" high; 9" long; 3" wide. The last photo, taken outdoors, is closer to the true color. The artist died at age 61 and is buried in Panther family cemetery in Cherokee, NC. His mother was Katie Wolfe Panther. Will refund any significant overage in shipping charge.
