Description: This 5-disc boxed set of Wagner: Die Walkure (complete opera) was recorded in 1954. It features the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra which is conducted by Wilhelm Furtwangler. Featured artists are Modl, Rysanek, Klose, Suthaus, Frantz and Frick. The discs are in very good + condition, as are the inlays (sleeves). It comes with a Libretto showing who sang which part and all the words (in German). It is in excellent condition. The box totally intact but has a little shelf wear on the bottom (photo 4). The records are oddly numbered (record labeled #1 has #10 on the back, #2 has #9 on the back, etc.) I try to accurately describe the items I list. Will send more photos upon request.
