Description: Up for sale is a lightly used, vintage set of Whitman coin folders for Canadian Small Cents, Quarters, and Half Dollars (No. 9062, 9068, and 9072). These Whitman folders have been a quality, economic option of the coin collecting community for many decades, and are an excellent way to protect, organize, and display your collection. Note: Folders are empty with no coins included. The folders feature the Whitman style “lock-in” ports in a compact, fold-out design. Each folder can store the below ranges of coins: • No. 9062 Small Cents: 46 labeled ports for all years and varieties of small cents minted between 1920 – 1959, and 13 unlabeled ports for continuing the collection or duplicate storage. • No. 9068 Quarters: 41 labeled ports for all years and varieties of quarters minted between 1911 – 1952. • No. 9072 Half Dollars: 30 labeled ports for all years and varieties of half dollars minted between 1937 – 1960. Folders measure 7-3/8” long and 5-7/8” wide. The folders are in lightly used condition, with very few signs of previous use. All bindings are still complete and strong, with only a few spots of wear. All ports are crisp and clean; some ports have had a coin inserted but the majority of them appear to be unused. The small cent folder has a very shallow scratch down the first page (see picture). There are a few smudges and light creases on the pages of all folders. The interior information pages of the folders have some circular discolorations from resting on the coin ports. Other than a few bumps/dings and some light handling/shelf wear, the folders are in very good vintage condition.
