The design is yellow, orange, and blue flowers in an urn. The outer rim is pale yellow and the center is an off white. It measures approximately 12 ¾ inches by 9 ¾ inches. It is stamped in blue on the back W.H. Grindley & Co. Ltd, Ivory, England, Reg No. 714550. It also has what looks like JL in black and the number 85 in red. You can feel the spots on the back where the piece would have been put on a stand to dry after glazing. There is some wear and minor scratches from use, and a couple of spots of discoloration on the yellow outer rim area. There is some age crazing. The registration number on the back dates this piece from 1925. The platter displays well and would be a nice addition to any kitchen. When properly packaged, it will ship at a 4 pound rate.
