Exact age is unknown; Sanborns went into the silver business in the early 1940s.Stamped on the underside with SANBORNS MEXICO STERLING, JO HECHO EN MEXICO, 2120, an eagle stamp with a 1 on its chest and "R". Note that not all of the marks are fully legible.No monograms.Light patina throughout (will polish only upon buyer's request which must be received at time of payment). Largest dimensions: 7 1/2" W (includes handles) x 2 7/8" H (includes handles). Without the handles, the bowl is 5 7/8" in diameter, 2 3/8" H.
