This lamp is on display for sale at an art gallery Presented for Your Consideration The long curvature of the reading lamp stem connects the crackled amber art glass shade to the large dragonfly residing below. Pointedly rendered in purist minimal form, only the essence of character and function are programmed into this lamp. The art glass shade is finely balanced between its position and distribution of light. It provides both the beauty of accent lighting and the bounty of task lighting experiences in equal measure. The wide-spread wings create a large lamp footprint and deliver sustained instrument stability. The shade holder still retains all 3 screws. A protective pad covers the base bottom. The cord has a control switch installed for convenient access. The lamp is in good working order. A magnet attracts moderately. The old amber art glass shade has both vertical lines and a crackled surface not usually seen together in lighting designs. Such shades are challenging to photograph and I used a 60 watt frosted incandescent bulb at 50% light level in the pictures. The shade is included in the purchase.
