Description: Vtg Liberty National Bank & Trust Co of Louisville Promo: Coin Bank w/Date & Key. Plastic cover and metal backing. Approx 4.25 x 3 x 1.75 in depth. Plastic cover shows stains, marks, etc. Upper lid appears to be bent like the lid wouldn't come off so someone tried prying it off. Also small chip missing on upper back edge. Not sure how the date mechanism works or may just be for looks or to remind you to save every year and open on Jan 1st????? Still has key in small paper envelope. The key works, but was a bit tricky to open. Hopefully I can it back on. Prior to opening it, the metal base did not mesh up with the plastic rim on all sides as seen in photos. Please see photos. Selling as is. Great piece of banking and Louisville memorabillia.
