Bottoms are all similar, and I believe they are part of the same set. It also appears to be paper mache. Some pieces are stamped Made in Italy. Joseph is missing his staff. Pieces have nicks and some signs of wear, making them even more beautiful. 4 pieces included: Mary, Joseph, Shepherd, and Donkey. Mary and Joseph are approximately 4 1/4 inches tall. The shepherd is approximately 4 3/4 inches tall. No The donkey is approximately 3 1/2 inches at his tallest, and 4 inches at his widest.
