The paperweight is in as found, original condition. There are no markings or cracks in the casting. The cast iron hat has a beautiful textured patina with good weight that makes it pleasant to hold. Looks to be from the WW1-WW2 era and would be an excellent addition to a military collection. A unique piece that is sure to be a conversation starter.
