Description: This vintage Westinghouse Symphonaire 66 AM Tube radio is a true gem from the mid-century era. With its classic design it is sure to delight any collector or enthusiast. Made in the United States during the 1950s, this radio is a great example of American craftsmanship at its finest. It features a brand name of Westinghouse with three dials Volume, Off-On/Tone and Tunning. Great example of a radio in the category of Tube Radios. Don't miss out on the chance to own a piece of history with this unique and beautiful radio. H-760T6 Charcoal/White 105-120 V. A.C. 50-60 Cycles or DC -30 Watts. 15 L x 5 W Condition: Case has some smudges and light scratches. Right side has a faint streak down the side and the left side a slight dent. (See photos please). Front is in great condition with a wonderful modern design for the era. Comes with back cover (see picture) which you screw off to get to the Tubes. Has an electric cord that plugs in. Plays AM stations only. Takes about a half a minute to warm up when turned on and gets reception (I could get 7 stations very clearly in my home). Static between stations. Speaker has a deep clear rich sound. For some reason the window in front that has the station numbers doesn't light up. May needs replacing a bulb. The radio tubes may also eventually have to be replaced at some point as well. Other than that a great iconic radio that works and can be put in a collection. I will do local pick up or shipping. If shipping is lower then ebay suggests to your area I will refund the difference. Thank you!
