Description: These shirts are something of a holdover from the olden days, when one would wear a collared shirt and tie under a jacket into combat. Most countries had ditched this by the 1950s, but the Bundeswehr kept the shirt at least. As far as I know, they were only replaced when Flecktarn came on scene in the early 1990s. Like pretty much everything else the German military produced, these shirts are of extremely high quality, and will last for years! And, since they're made for life in the field, they're fairly heavy weight - ideal for cooler weather. The shirt seen here is in reasonably good condition. The shoulder flags have been removed, and it's missing the button on the left pocket. 38" chest with just slightly under a 25" sleeve. -------- I am a longtime collector of Cold War military equipment.
