But, as these are previously loved, any wear, flaws, or anything else is to be considered character. See pic 10. I see no side and no manufacturer or contents label. Guessing these are wool or a blend of. NOT a stretchy fabric. See pic 11 for some laying flat measurements. Waist measures 16” from side to side. Although there is no stretch, this measurement is when the waist is pulled fully taut from side to side. In other words, there is no wiggle room. If your waist is at all bigger, these may be too taut. If you’re under 32” may be best. There are two buttons at each side of waist so that waist can be made smaller. The 16” side to side is smaller when the buttons are used. Hope that makes sense. So.... Fully extended waist is 16” from side to side (32”) When two buttons are at largest “setting” which means the furthest ones out are buttoned, waist measures 15 3:4” from side to side (31 1/2”). When two buttons are at the smallest “setting” when means the buttons closest in are buttoned, waist measures 14 1/4” from side to side (28 1/2”). Rise (crotch seam to top of waist) is 11 3/8”. Inseam (crotch seam to end of leg) is 32”. Please note that the raw him is still there. If the hem was let down to the raw hem, the inseam would be 2 1/4” longer. End of leg measures 8 7/8” from side to side. 10” up from end of leg, leg measures 9 5/8” from side to side. Pic 12 shows the inside out side of hem. As is. Just as pictured and described.
