Lovely purple at bottom, but almost changes to a blue purple at back purple top the lid. I should describe the color as very closed to amethyst purple lavender. Rare ESTATE SALE FIND. Item's history is not available. The candy dish is unmarked. It is a lovely piece. Measures approx. 7.25” wide; 3.5” high without a lid. Dish is a little under 7” tall with lid. Weighs: 3 lbs. 3 oz. (heavy). Good pre-owned condition with couple of minor flaws. NOTE: Very light chips on the ruffled dish edge; other one on the lid's bowl handle (refer to the last 2 picture).
