Description: For sale is a Makah or Nuu-chah-nulth basket. This tightly woven basket is from the early 20th c. and made from dyed grass with cedar bark. The side of the basket has dyed strands of blue, brown, and purple of varying thickness in a circular design. The top of the lid has what I would call a sun image within a circular design. There is some fading of the images otherwise the basket is in great condition. Measurements: 2” H X 4 inches in diameter & 12 1/2 inches in circumference. Please follow my store as new art is added often. I have been selling native art on ebay since 1999 so buy with confidence.
