VINTAGE NAVAJO NATIVE AMERICAN STERLING SILVER & NATURAL TURQUOISE CUFF BRACELET

On offer is an authentic, vintage NAVAJO hand wrought .900 - .925 sterling silver double carinated angle band cuff bracelet with silver rope that is adorned with a fine hand cut and polished southwest desert brilliant sky blue natural turquoise cabochon stone. The bracelet tested positive for Sterling. It is decorated with classic hand stamped motifs all around. This bracelet is not hallmarked for maker which was quite common in earlier Native American jewelry prior to the 1970's. We believe this piece was created circa 1960 or perhaps earlier. This handsome bracelet was skillfully crafted in the traditional old NAVAJO technique with attention to detail and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The beautiful, brilliant blue turquoise stone is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The rectangle shaped cabochon stone is firmly and securely set in a smooth silver bezel surrounded by silver half plaques and wire work. The stone measures approx. 3/8" long x 1/4" wide. Overall, the double carinated band bracelet measures approx. 5/8" tapering to 7/16" wide. The interior circumference of the cuff is approx. 7" TOTAL including 1 1/2" opening. The cuff has a bit of flexibility for careful adjusting and weighs a hefty 25.5 grams - .820 ounce.
