It has been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and it has nice shine and is very clean. It is straight, not bent, enamel has nice color with no visible damage, has no personal monograms or engravings, comes with a jump ring already attached, with no major issues at all. Top is done in the school's colors of red and black enamel finish and reads LINCOLN WAY COM. H.S. It is important to note that the school was originally known as Lincoln Way Community and later became known as Lincoln Way Central. It is done in the design of a non-functioning, old pocket watch winding key that could be worn as a watch fob, bracelet charm or necklace pendant. It is not hallmarked by a maker or metal purity, but it has been stone and acid tested and confirms gold plated base metal. This is a great, very collectible piece for those that once attended or worked at this school, you collect local Chicago and Illinois history, or unique watch fobs!
