Description: This gorgeous Blond #3 Barbie has never been retouched. Never had green ear! She has her original makeup with brown eyeliner. Under her blond hair she has flocking with tell me she is authentic. She is on a heavy, solid body and she is stamped Barbie. See picture for her butt stamp. She smells like Crayons, she has a slight fading of white which is normal for the 3 # Barbie. When buying a #3 Barbie pay attention to what you are buying. The number three Barbies that I sell are always authentic. I been collecting for 50 years and maybe earlier if you want to count my childhood. The way you can tell a number three Barbie is authentic is she will be on a heavy, solid body, she will be stamped Barbie, usually TM or possibly R on her back right cheek. She will have flocking on her scalp under her ponytail. She will smell like crayons. She will have either the normal blue or sometimes brown eyeliner. If they have brown eyeliner, it is definitely a number three Barbie. When you compare a number three Barbie to a number four Barbie and the Barbies after, the number three Barbie will always be faded. The formula they used in the early Barbies was unstable, so it started to fade after a few years. Later they developed or change the formula, and the Barbie stayed the same tan color.
