He does have minor paint loss on face and spot on one arm along with VERY minor wear from storage, (see photos)…is also missing his miniature tree that he was originally holding…any miniature tree could be added to his hand, but displays well without it. Original cord is useable and light inside Santa works well. Bottom has removable plug to remove coins when full…identification on bottom reads…HARETT-GILMAR, INC., N.Y.C., PAT. PEND. Material is hard plastic, similar to that of Bakelite, celluloid, Carvanite or Catalin….all popular in Mid Century Decor and similar to Union Products or Rosbro Plastics. Display under the retro Evergleam silver aluminum tinsel Christmas tree for 50s, atomic Jetson’s 60s Space Age appeal in the country farmhouse or rustic cabin…Mid Century Modern appeal.
