Description: This is a wonderful vintage February 1973 issue of The Evanstonian, Evanston Township High School’s Newspaper. I found it in the Evanston estate of Robert R. Jones. The newspaper is in acceptable vintage condition, it has rips and it is discolored. For a bit more history, Robert R. Jones’ mother was Marie Carter, the great great granddaughter of the Potawatomi missionary Robert Simerwell. Her great grandmother was Elizabeth Simerwell Carter, the first white female born in Kansas.
