Vintage Decorative Cutting Boards Hand Painted 1950s Roosters/1980s Pineapple

Description: Two cutting boards are for sale in this listing. You may choose either one from the dropdown list, or both. The painted cutting board is a vintage, mid-century wood or modern Farmhouse style cutting board. One side is naturalwood, the other side is hand painted in a folk-art style with two roosters and a border. It probably dates from the late 1950s. The cutting board measures about 10" x 7"; including the handle it is 13 3/4". On the cutting side, it's marked "USE THIS SIDE. SAVE MY FACE". At the bottom, WOODPECKER WOOD WARE HAND PAINTED PAT. JAPAN is imprinted. It was hung by the hole in the handle as a decorative accent in the kitchen, and not used as a cutting board. It is in good vintage condition, but the birds have sustained some scratches over the years while in storage. (Please seepictures.) There also seems to be some stains or marks of unknown origin on the handle. (Again, please see pictures). The pineapple cutting board is handmade, new and unused. Hardware to hang the board is included. It was made around 1981 and has been in storage since then. It measures about 11" X 8" X .75". There are some flaws consistent with a handmadeitem. In this case, there is some roughness on the edge of one of the pineapples' leaves. I have done my best to show the true condition of the cutting boards in the pictures.
