This is a beautiful CWC Chronograph with rarer date display. This military piece uses the famous Valjoux/ETA 7765 17 jewel movement the same as used by many very famous and much more expensive manufacturers’ This piece is almost unworn and is a great modern size at 39.5mm. The rear of case has British military markings and the papers are dated 2003 although I suspect the piece is earlier than that supplied in its original CWC tin. A WATCH FOR THE MILITARY COLLECTOR, AND THE VALJOUX CHRONO ENTHUSIAST.THESE WATCHES ARE NOW OUT OF STOCK WITH SILVERMANS AND ACCORDING TO THE WEB SITE WILL NEVER BE MADE AGAIN. CASE: This is a lovely 2 piece screw back GREY SATINISED steel case. It is in excellent to mint original condition, showing no discernible wear at all. The case has an 80's retro look and is amazing. It has fixed bars between the lugs. The case is marked to the back with the BRITISH BROADARROW MARK and the numbers 6645-99-924-3306 The case back screws on beautifully as it should. The case measures 3.9cms including the recessed crown. DIAL: This superb watch has the most lovely chronograph original fully signed CWC BLACK MILITARY dial WITH THE RARER DATE FEATURE! I particularly love the positioning of the 2 registers!It has applied Arabic LUMED numerals, luminous markers and double register recording seconds & minutes. THE DIAL IS IN minty CONDITION. The dial also has excellent steel hands which are lumed. The lume has lost a lot of its luminosity with age. The stop watch centre second hand is white and is in mint condition. The original crystal is in excellent condition. MOVEMENT: This fantastic CWC military wrist watch has a superb minty VALJOUX 7765 chronograph 17 jewel movement with HACK SECONDS and date feature fitted. It is in full working order and is running well. All of the pushers work as they should and the centre hand snaps back bang on to twelve.The movement winds and sets smoothly showing no undue wear. It keeps excellent time as tested over a 24 hour period. Please note that as always a full service would be needed for optimum performance and timekeeping. The crown is original and is in minty condition. BAND: This stunning military CWC watch is fitted with a lovely (probably original) Olive green NATO style webbing band. It looks virtually unworn and is in minty condition. It will fit most size mens wrists. BOX: This beautiful hardly worn CWC chronograph watch comes complete with its original tin box and original papers showing a purchase date of 2003.
