Description: Absolutely stunning red clay pottery in the classic Cole Family tradition - a multi-generational family of potters from the Seagrove area of North Carolina. This piece is most likely from the 1930s or ‘40s and is unsigned. It features a beautiful rainbow drip glaze of muted red, turquoise, white, yellow and blush. The footed jug design with lipped spout and handle is classic. It is in very good vintage condition with crazing commensurate with age. There is a small chip at the base and a maker’s imperfection in the form of a slice near the base. See photos for details! I also have a second similar Cole pottery piece for sale in my shop. Dimensions: 6.5” tall, 4” wide (approx) Shipping from Michigan.
