It is an original with a brass, glass and bakelite construction, made in the United States for the U.S. Military. This clock is a unique find from an estate sale and is a piece of maritime history. Condition: Previously Owned. WW2 Era made of Bakelite and Brass due to metal shortages and war mandates during World War II.Other than dusting it off, I have not tried to clean in any way.Patina / oxidation consistent for their age possible.
