Description: This is a beautiful black velvet and black sequinned cocktail-evening dress, which I would guess was made to order by the in-house team in the workrooms of the legendary I. Magnin & Co. of San Francisco, CA, and dating from somewhere between 1968-1972, give or take a year or 2 at either end. I am only sorry that I don't have anyone to model it for the photos so that you could imagine what an impactful entrance you would make, wearing this dress! It's really in fine, vintage condition, with no apparent flaws, stains or odors. It was probably worn only a handful of times. This beautifully made garment is fully lined and includes a "built-in" slip (not sure what the technical word for that is). As this was probably made to order for the customer, there is no size label.
