Description: BARBIE IN JAPANThis listing is for the outfit Barbie in Japan, #0821 from 1964. It is complete comes with the original packaging. The cellophane was opened at the top and the cardboard was slid out in order to cut the threads and release all of the items except for the travel pamphlet, it is still attached. The contents were never used or displayed on a doll. The shoes fell apart which is common. The gold rope, gold soles and red plastic bottomss are no longer attached to the white socks. A few flecks of paint have fallen off of the cherry blossom buds. See photos. All accessories are in mint condition otherwise. The kimono is wrinkled in a few places due to storage and being in the box so long. The box is nice and firm, has all inner flaps for closure and still has the sticker on the side with the name of the outfit. Booklet, not pictured is also included.If you are looking for a mint copy of this terrific outfit - this is it.
