Vintage Antique Hampden Molly Stark Men's WW1 Trench Watch Mens Watch Serviced

Description: This is an original antique wristwatch dating to 1913. This is handsome, clean, and in excellent condition for a WW1 Era military style wristwatch. This has been carefully restored. The radium lume has been removed and replaced on the original porcelain dial and hands with safe, non-radioactive Luminova. The movement has been carefully serviced with synthetic Moebius greases and oils and the mainspring has been upgraded to a modern white alloy mainspring. The watch runs very well and keeps time. The time sets as it should. The case is Silverine, which was Hampden Dueber's brand name for solid nickel, and it is about 31mm wide not including the crown. It is about 45mm long to the tips of the lugs. The movement is a good quality Hampden 3/0 Molly Stark and it has 9 jewels. This particular version of the Molly Stark that is made for stem wind and open face pendant set is quite rare and I believe it was made only for wristwatches, which were very uncommon in 1913. The band is a new, good quality leather strap that was hand made in Spain. The total length of the watch is about 10 1/2 inches. The mineral glass crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches. The dial is very nice and is depicted accurately in the pictures. Please see my other listings...I am always listing rare watches and chronographs.
