Description: In 1972, Hasbro released Aimee, the 18 inch brunette "beautiful doll with elegant hair" in response to the popular Crissy doll, who had hair that "grew." Rather than having hair that grew, Aimee was available with a wide selection of wigs and hairpieces that snapped into holes in her head. Her available clothing was more "upscale" with no casual clothing options. She came in colorful patterned dress with deep red, blue, black, orange, and pink.
