Description: DESCRIPTION:Vintage circa 1952, mid-size (30mm) stainless steel Girard Perregaux Sea Hawk manual wind watch with appealing matching patina to the markers and hands. Very cool plunger style sweep second hand. Inscribed on the case back: L NEWBY FROM THIRD SHIFT 1952. A few soft scratches on the perimeter of the acrylic crystal. Nice case with a bit of wear to the inside of the lower right lug. Otherwise, tiny dings evenly distributed about the case commensurate with age. No dings or scratches of note. Sets and winds well. The watch is currently running accurate to within approximately a minute per day but the service history is unknown and the watch is sold with no further mechanical warranty.
