Description: This is a wonderful, very early vintage mail-order catalog for Anne Adams patterns, undated but very much from 1934-1935. There is a mention in the text of "...the Depression dropping behind us..." This catalog was printed and distributed by the Peoria Journal newspaper. Referencing newspaper advertisements for Anne Adams patterns I can place the dating of this catalog to most likely 1934.The cover features a wonderful illustration of a woman joyfully skiing down a mountain.It includes illustrations and details for patterns that were available at the time for mail order. These patterns include those for sewing clothing for women and children. There are articles on fashion and advice and hairstyle choices, accessories for the season, and even a small collection of evening gowns!Condition: Just lovely with clean, beautiful illustrated pages. There is some light foxing and general light wear from age and use. As the staples were beginning to rust, I removed them to protect the paper and replaced them with thread-loop bindings.It measures 12.5 x 9.75 inches and is 40 pages.
