Description: THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT MY AUCTION. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND MY POLICIES BEFORE PLACING YOUR BID. Check out my other items!Be sure to add me to your favorites list! This listing is for a vintage C melody saxophone mouthpiece. There is no brand name on it but based on the shape of the shank and the font of the "C" stamp I am pretty certain that it is of Buescher origin. They did not always stamp their name on their stock mouthpieces, especially if they came with a second line or stencil horn. This mouthpiece dates to the 1920's. It is typical of that era in design. It has a very large round chamber, and deeply scooped inner side walls. The tip opening measures in at .062". It is made of hard rubber. This mouthpiece is in very good condition. The facing is smooth, and there are no tooth indentations on the beak. There is minor scratching/scuffing on both the interior and exterior, but this has no effect on how it plays. The rubber shows mild fading/discoloration. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized. Please feel free to message me with any questions. Thanks again for looking! 10/17/24-16
