Description: View-Master Model D Lighted Focus Viewer This vintage viewer is made from brown bakelite and was the only View-Master to have focusing eye-pieces (7x magnification). The lenses are unique with an oblong, rather than the more usual round shape. It operates with 2 'D' size batteries (not included). The build quality is very high and it is considered to be the prestige item in the Sawyers range of viewers and held in high regard by collectors today. The viewer is in good condition, the light illuminates, the lenses move in and out with the rotation of the focus reel. The only item to note is the ornamental medallion is missing. The box is in good vintage condition, with some weare ligth crease, discolorations, etc., as shown.
