Description: Patriotic Civil War Token Fuld 60/200ao struck over NY630W-1a (copper) R-8 Very Nice UNC ex Ken Bauer and plate token for the reverse die This token was distributed by New York City token maker Emil Sigel. It is an unusual variety because it is struck over the store card token NY630AW-1a originally struck for the Felix Dining Saloon, a Kosher restaurant. Identifiable understrike detail is visible on both sides of the token. This is an attractive uncirculated specimen of a very rare variety. It was formerly in the collection of Ken Bauer, a long-time collector of Civil War tokens. Not only is it among the finest known for this variety, it is also the plate token for the reverse die in the 6th edition of the Fuld reference book for patriotic Civil War tokens.Shipping is free. Should this token fail to meet your expectations, it can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. Sales tax, if applicable, is collected by Ebay and submitted directly to state authorities.
