This one's really neat This is an authentic 1908 Philippine peso made of 0.750 US minted American silver. The coin is genuine original has a nice finish to it with excellent details on both Mount Mayon and on the American Eagle. Genuine 1908 Filipino peso is extremely scarce and has been set into pure sterling silver. The Chain is around 15 g and weight and is 24 in in length which works out to 60 cm. They were making these Filipino pesos at the San Francisco met alongside the Morgan silver dollar when they were still being struck. Coin has an outside diameter of about 36 mm versus a 38 mm more for comparison. Philippines is a fascinating country with a very neat and interesting culture.
