Description: VTG EARLY UNMARKED BETSY MCCALL DOLL ONE-PIECE OUTFIT. This cute little on-piece outfit was purchased at auction. The outfit included the handwritten paper tag pinned with rust spots on the paper with a price of $45 on handwritten tag. This outfit is for a 1950's Betty McCall Doll. A keen Ebayer recognized the outfit and helped to identify what doll this was made to fit (greatly appreciated). The outfit has a cotton red and white checked short sleeved two-snap (original) back with white trim around the neck and sleeve cuffs (white is dingy). The brown felt pants have big pockets and are shaped like riding pants with seams down the front side. Outfit measures approximately 6 inches L and armpit to armpit one side is 2 inches and waist side seam to side seam one side is 1 1/2 inches. Outfit may have been handmade? Unable to confirm which doll this outfit is suited for--interested buyers may be able to identify. The previous owner may have tried to sell it at a yard sale or sale as it was in an old freezer zip bag with Vogue $22 marked on it (see photo). It sure is cute. Condition is "pre-owned".
