Description: Very unusual Zacuto baseplate here. Technically, it's the Zacuto VCT Pro Jr. My copy is MINT. Just about as new as could be. No problems. Baseplate/shoulder rig, sliding plate, 2 15mm rods, VCT adapter, and 1 1/4inch screw included. What makes this model unique:Functionally, it's a Zacuto ACT. Which means it works on arca compatible quick release systems. That's convenient for small set ups. Here's the weird part. There is an adapter that screws straight into the arca slot, making it VCT compatible. What?! Yes, thats right. It's Arca-Swiss compatible AND VCT compatible. This is also essential a VCT PRO, with the ARRI rosette removed and a smaller sliding plate. (However the holes to add the rosette are there, if you feel so inclined.) Maybe it's my fault for not knowing this years ago, but why this specific tool is so poorly documented is beyond me. Very versatile. If you have a small setup now but looking to upgrade into the larger cinema cameras, this system is future-proofed for both arenas. Feel free to ask any questions. (Dinosaur not included.
