Rocket Star Quilt Top 72" x 84" c.1950Cream colored muslin with variety of solids & prints for stars; muslin cornerstones with a blue sashing Blocks are hand pieced; sashing and cornerstones are machine pieced Very Good ConditionMay have older fabrics but the newest seems to be about 1950 Pontiac Star Quilt Top 72" x 87" c.1930White fabric with variety of solids & prints for stars; bird print cornerstones with pink sashing; deep pink outer border Blocks are hand and/or machine piecing; sashing, cornerstones, and borders are machine pieced Has some spots of unknown nature (location is circled on photo) see photos This is a scrappy quilt top and has units composed of multiple pieces (see photos) Due to the quirkiness of old work, some of the stars points are not sharp, blocks don't meet perfectly, and there are a few small puckers here and there Uneven 9-Patch Quilt Top 84" x 97" c.1990Cream print with a variety of blue prints for blocks; cream print for alternate blocks; blue-green inner border, large floral print on blue outer border Blocks are machine pieced; outer border is machine pieced with hand pieced mitered corners; the outer border is a big to long for the inner field and ruffles a bit, see photos Very Good Condition Zodiac Quilt Top 91" x 112" c.1990Blue and cream solids with assorted solids for details Blocks are machine pieced and hand embroidered; stars, moons, zodiac symbols are hand appliqueEach central block features an applique of one of the zodiac symbols with embroidered name & attributesThe outside border features an embroidered version of each zodiac symbol with name Very Good Condition If you would like additional photos, please let me know.
