Description: I'm selling this starter for my son. He bought it for his 1995 F150 Truck with a 300 cid straight 6 cylinder engine with a 5 speed manual stick-shift transmission. He bolted it on and I asked him if he bought this starter for a stick shift transmission. After he researched it he found that it is for a 300cid engine with an automatic transmission. So he took it back off and ordered the correct starter. This starter does show signs of being bolted onto the engine. That's all. It was never used to turn an engine over. So if you have a Ford 300cid engine with an automatic transmission behind it, this would work for you. I did use a black marker to count the pinion teeth on this starter so I could list it correctly here on ebay. I also noticed he put this starter in the wrong box. This box has a different number on it than the starter. The number on the box is for a starter to use with a stick shift transmission and the number on the starter is to be used with an automatic transmission.
