Description: The first edition (1981) page margins browned but does not affect print or readability, bookstamp first page, otherwise clean with tight binding. The listed third edition (1996) is near perfect. Note there was a 1987 2nd edition published (titled "Sicilian 2 c3" with NEW EDITION on cover left top), but not offered here. Author walks the variation tree with fragments and explanation, his original edition, simply titled "Sicilian 2 c3" is one of the first significant works on the system and this offer pairs it with his last update. The listed edition is extensively longer, still with the tree structure, but with 69 heavily analyzed games spanning the variations as its organization. NOTE: This 3rd edition has two covers: the one with chessboard in black and white was published in England, the one with chessboard black and red was published in the US.
