Description: Please Read: Here is an original General Lee Dukes of Hazard poster. This poster is in the original plastic shrink-wrapped cover. It was made by Western Graphics Company, Eugene, OR w/ Warner Brothers 1981 TM. These were some of the earliest/original issues of the General Lee poster. It has not been mounted or displayed. The bid is for poster that is pictured. The poster has the original end sticker that had been loosened. Since there was a tear in the sticker attached to the shrink wrap, I opened it for inspection and pics. The detailed poster pictures are of the same poster that is for sale. The opened poster is in overall very nice shape and would display well in a frame. I unrolled it and put a few items to hold it down for pictures. Please look at the detail in the photos carefully. There are some crease marks and a few spots where the poster in the tube had been handled, moved, stored and stacked with other items over the years. There are some noted impression marks that are visible in the paper. There are also a few marks where the impression on the paper has broken the color. An example of that is the letter “A” in the General Lee name. There are other spots and I tried to take pics of most of them but I am sure I missed a few. The only tear that I could find is in the bottom corner in the pic with the tape measurer for reference. The paper bends, indentations and marks are similar in look to what you would see in a vintage comic book cover that is moved, stored, and handled over the years. The poster is being sold as is with no returns. I think once it is laid flat for a period and framed, it would improve the appearance of the noted wrinkles/marks over time. I am not trying to oversell the poster and that is not a guarantee. But that is just my experience from working with similar items and collectibles for several decades.
