Description: You are bidding on Two Civil War Era Pontil Black Glass Ale, Whiskey or Liquor bottle, that was dug in New Orleans. This is the shoulder type bottles. We call it black glass, but it is really a very dark green. These bottles are so dark that you have to hold it up to the sun light to even see through them. The bottles have some scratches, and some spots of dullness located on the bottle that can be seen in the pictures. The rest of the bottle has an overall good shiny look to the glass on both of them. One of the bottles has a small in making dip in the lip, no damage. This one also has some dull spots that is only on one side. The last three pictures show this. Two of those pictures are of the side with the dull spots and the other picture is of the side without the dull spots. They are both approx. 9 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" at the base. There are no chips, cracks or damage. All of this can be seen in the pictures. Don't miss out on the opportunity to add this historically bottle to your collection. United States shipping only. Buyers will pay USPS Ground Advantage shipping. There are no returns for buyer's remorse. Returns are accepted if not as described.
