Description: Large, modern style Raku fired vase by Tony Evans. It is somewhat triangular in shape and signed 'Evans Raku 101' at the base. There is also another series of number/letters at the base, but I cannot say what they reference - maybe this piece was a prototype (?). As noted in the condition description, there is light surface wear and a fleck of missing glaze on the center green/copper reed (see photo # 8). It is otherwise in beautiful condition with vibrant shiny green and copper glaze against an ashy brown background. Measures are approximate:Height = 7 inchesWidth = 11 inchesDepth = 5 inchesWeight 3 1/2 lbs.
