There's also a Household Preparedness Checklist. The state's overall recommendation, one that might not make as much sense in some states, was for those in the Upper Midwest region of the United States to "Prepare for Y2K Like a Winter Storm" (meaning more than simply stocking up on beer and bratwurst!).
