Description: Hardcovers, twelve volumes, one of 330 sets published by the Venetian Society in 1928, unabridged, translated by Arthur Machen, including the chapters discovered by Arthur Symons. Volume I is in less than good condition, the front cover and endpapers having come loose (see the third photo). The other volumes have general wear, including some chipped spine ends, some cracked hinges, and some light staining to the boards (see the second and fourth photos), but are in still good condition. Aside from a former owner's name in pen on the rear endpaper of the last volume the endpapers are unmarked, and all the pages are unmarked. Packed securely for shipment.
