Description: Pretty hard to find first pressing on this rarity from the Fleas, recording in 1961 on the Challenge record label, with Scratchin' b/w Tears. Only release by this studio only foursome. Group included Ricky Nelson, Glen Campbell, Dave Burgess, and Jerry Fuller. Song written by Burgess and Fuller. Low profile recording due to Ricky Nelson's involvement with Imperial records. Vinyl 45 rpm record play tests Very Good, minor staining on a-side label, see pics. Record will be shipped in a new white generic sleeve. Dave Burgess was an integral member of the Champs, and was replaced on rhythm guitar in the band in late 1960 by Glen Campbell. Burgess remained the band's manager. Jerry Fuller was a lead vocalist with the Champs, and in 1961 wrote Travelin' Man, which turned into a huge hit for Ricky Nelson. He also wrote 23 more of Ricky's recordings, including A Wonder Like You, Small World, and It's Up To You. Another tidbit, Jim Seals and Dash Crofts, aka Seals and Crofts, were also a member of the Champs. Jim's brother Dan Seals was part of a great 1970's duo, England Dan and John Ford Coley, and later a wonderful country singer. Enjoy the music!
