Description: This is NEW condition Tenshodo Railroad Locomotive Whistle Tie Clasp that they had custom made. This is the sort of company promo item that is given to business customers and potential business customers and perhaps executives and employees. It is decidedly a rare item. And an interesting one especially for anyone collecting Pacific Fast Mail imported brass locomotives which included many from Tenshodo. The whistle makes it pretty clear that this was made for what Tenshodo called its “Model Section.” It has what appears to be an O Scale Whistle attached. It seems to be either nickel or chrome plated. Perhaps chrome as the surface of the “TENSHODO” lettering is very shiny. It has its original box, which is in very good, but not perfect, condition.
