Description: A 1950s import from Italy, this tall vase was designed and signed by Alvino Bagni. It has an attractive striped pattern of olive, black, amber and yellow, and the matte glaze has a mottled appearance with a slight aqua hue in some areas. The interior appears to have a white glaze. It is stamped on the bottom "Made in Italy". Measurements: 12" high x 4 3/8" wide across the base, 2 1/4" wide across the neck, 4" across the flat top surface. In excellent condition, this is a stunning *1950s MCM art pottery vase, which is a signed original by Alvino Bagni of Italy. *It is known to be from this time period based upon the red clay composition.
