Marlene was a blonde sex symbol, but usually mannequins such as this one would have been portrayed as blondes, brunettes and redheads. This is a great depiction of an actual woman from the period as opposed to the usually found idealized or stylized younger ladies.To find working ladies from the early part of the past century in this amazing condition is rare and a total treat. The photos speak for themselves, the features and angles of the sculpture are superb and the way they catch the different types of lighting is exquisite.
