Description: Cross Posted. The 50s Sputnik Weather Station was made in W. Germany and hand assembled. It needs a good cleaning inside and out. I have only wiped it down. It is missing some tiny screws, and the clear globe shows scratching; the metal shows it needs to be cleaned, as shown in the images. I believe it is brass. I have not set it, and I admit I am not a weather station guru. I know it has moved, but I have to sell it as is, as I am unsure how it works. Looking it up, I have learned that you must set your barometer needle to the correct position by finding the latest pressure reading from the Met Office using the observation site closest to your home. It is 8" from the bottom to the top of the spike on top, 4" across the bottom, and 6-6 1/2" across the side from spike to spike. The Brass needs to be polished.
