Description: All is not quiet on the Western Front when you're playing "Soldiers". It's been at least 30 years since I played this but I remember it being quite a good game. I did the Order of Battle for some 3 scenarios and it appears all the units are there. The map is the biggest one I ever owned (35x22) and has some ash smudges on it (we smoked while playing it, but not tobacco) and there's a noticeable burn mark on it (photo 10) but I find these aspects appropriate for a war game map. You can pretend the burn came from an exploding shell and not an exploding seed. Hey, it was the 70's and we were in our late 20's. I do not have the copy of the original rules (either Jack the librarian or Mike my dentist have them someplace) but I do have two Xerox copies of both the main rules and the addendum. The cardboard bottom has become unglued from the plastic tray which is quite common for a game this old. So, while apparently complete the game does have its issues which is why I'm only charging what I am for it. The game will be sent to you via USPS Ground Advantage in a plastic bag and protected by bubble wrap in a sturdy box within two business days of ebay notifying me payment has been received. Buyers from the lower 48 states only, please. While I won't accept a return on this item as I think I've been quite honest about its condition, should you have any major issues with it please contact me via ebay and I'm sure we can work something out.
